Visitors

Beleura the House & Garden is the legacy of Jack Morton Tallis, who left his estate to the people of Victoria for their education and enjoyment.

On the day of the appointed visit, visitors will be collected from a nearby location. Visitors are transferred to the Beleura in a courtesy bus. This arrangement adds a little mystery to your visit which we know you will enjoy. All tickets are prepaid, tea/coffee and shortbread are served to guests on arrival and a light lunch is served between the house & garden tours. From the time we meet you with the bus to the time of return to the car park your tour will take approximately four and a half hours.

Individual Bookings
Guided Tours are scheduled on selected days throughout the year.  Please view our What's On page for details.  Payment is requested at the time of your booking.

Group Bookings
We always welcome Group Bookings (up to 48 people). Groups are invited to also request dates not listed in our What's On page.  Please Telephone 03 5975 2027 to discuss your needs.  A deposit is requested at the time of booking and final payment 4 weeks prior to your visit.

How to Get Here
Beleura is located in a residential area. Our Planning Permit sets out specific regulations that we are legally bound to follow. It is for this reason that you cannot come directly to Beleura The House & Garden.  

Visitors must be collected from the location printed on your entry ticket. PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE PICK UP LOCATION TEN MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TOUR/PROGRAM STARTS

Public Transport/Parking Options

The Peninsula Bus lines no781 stops near the intersection of Nepean Hwy and Bungower Road Mornington.  This is an appropriate destination if you wish to use public transport to reach one of our collection locations.

Please telephone the office to discuss other Public Transport options. We can offer a number of alternatives for transport of groups to Mornington including collection from Frankston Station.

Parking
Free Parking is available at Mornington collection points.

Disabled Access

Wheelchair access to Beleura is limited. Please make us aware of the special needs of any member of your group in advance of your arrival so that we can offer appropriate assistance.

Beleura the House & Garden is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality visits.  We endeavour to make sure that all programmes listed on our website are correct.   In the event that a programme is not available or we are unable to fulfil your booking we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative programme or a full refund.
