Join a behind-the-scenes conversation with curator Ingrid Hoffman and Jeff Busby, a leading professional photographer of Australian stage and theatre productions. His striking black and white shots have documented Melbourne Theatre Company, Opera Australia, Sydney Dance Company, The Australian Ballet and the Melbourne International Festival productions over the past four decades.

Jeff Busby and curator Ingrid Hoffmann will examine Jeff’s approach to stagecraft and stage photography and provide a fascinating glimpse of Melbourne’s theatre world from the recent past.

Beleura in Mornington has an image archive of 20,000 performing arts photographs beginning with JC Williamson 19th C collection and ending with the Fairfax newspapers 20th C collection. This is an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes of a remarkable theatre collection.
